I am Saara, a 24-year-old Finn and former city girl living in Rantajärvi, Sweden.
For me, one of the biggest uncertainties and sources of stress has been change. Regardless of my “fear” for change I have moved around eight times within the last five years looking for my place in this world of ours trying out things that make me happy.
At the moment I am living in a village of 66 people in Sweden. I moved here to work a season at a ski centre, but the season is over now and I am about to move again, only thing is, I don’t know when and where. I am 900 kilometres away from my home town, living here with my boyfriend and our mixed breed puppy, waiting what life brings us in the future.
My blog illustrates the thrill of constant change and shows how I am coping with it. Through texts, photos and videos I am sharing my everyday life in the North, small village stuff and activities with the puppy. Stay tuned to find out how a city girl survives in the cold of polar circle.
